Chameleon R200 Educational Mobile Robots are designed for teaching Mechatronics, Robotics and Controls concepts in an exciting way. The Chameleon is a modern tool for the modern learning environment.
A three-piece aluminum assembly with full drivetrain enclosure and integrated bumpers results in a solid, reusable chassis. The Chameleon is designed to withstand the wear and tear of repeated use and modification.
The Chameleon is built on an open low-level communication protocol that is as simple to work with as connecting a LabVIEW toolkit or downloading ROS. Optional 5V/12V power lines allow you to power a wide variety of external devices.
The Chameleon has been carefully engineered to deliver engaging educational content at a price point that works for course budgets. It is positioned to offer a superior feature set at a comparable price to competing hardware in its class, contact us to learn how the Chameleon is a cost-effective educational tool.
Clearpath Robotics products proudly support industry standard software.
Indoor Positioning - Clearpath Robotics can work with you to integrate the Chameleon into an existing Local Positioning System (LPS) in your lab, or we can install one for you. Use an LPS to provide students with enhanced state estimation capabilities.
Multi-Robot Systems - Each Chameleon comes with an integrated 2.4Ghz wireless bridge. Use multiple Chameleons on a single network to create a powerful multi-robot system for teaching and research.
Payload Mounting - An rigid and slotted aluminium frame allows for rapid and reconfigurable payload mounting. Build a custom mechanical framefork to configure a unique classroom experience.
